VIII Do what you want / Do what you want VIII

I'm back after a while without uploading anything. This is the last work of the subject, and as the weeks go by it seems that almost all we are doing odd jobs, touching the limits of what is commonly accepted as art, and more political. In fact people say that out of class trying to burn things. That's fine, a little gasoline for the ideas, but only as each one views things personally and question, we are not here to advertise anything.

This work is half to Caterina, a girl in class. Try to show in a visceral and aggressive how GM food is sold without let people know exactly the dangers. The debate on this is open and will surely continue so long, but I've always sounded like a commercial defense of highly dubious.

With this in mind we did what is called a Product Placement in English, presenting a new product, a real company devoted to the issue, Singenta. We made a poster and the delicious apple you see below. Is a very trite and unoriginal, it seems that the concept has been virtually adopted by the opponents to this type of product, but we wanted to do anyway.

As I said not making ideological propaganda here, is just la excusa para hacer un trabajo. La propaganda ya la haré en mi blog pseudopolítico, si lo resucito.

That's good, a little fuel for our ideas, but only as long as everyone reflects and cuestion things by himself, we're not here to do propaganda.

This work has ben made with Caterina, a girl from class. It tries to show in a raw and aggresive way how transgenic food is sold with people not knowing exactly the risks of consuming it. Debate is open and surely will be for a long time, put it always has looked to me like the commercial deffense of a very doubtful product.
